question
Ok I have an 82 f-150. On the rear end there is a rubber hose connected to the right axle housing it us to run up tords the bed but the other day it was dragging on the ground. My question is what is it and what is the use of it? O and should I fix it or just cut it off and not worry about it?
Thanx for any input.

That is your axle tube vent...try to fix it, as it will help keep water out of the rear axle.
