After market LS

what ls has every one been having good luck with? What are your horror stories from finding out what works best the hard way?

When I was doing my research I found that most go with the detroit true trac. It has the coil gears and no clutch plates to wear out. That is what I ended up with and enjoy its benefits.
The other popular choice is ARB air lockers which most that go front and rear diff end up with.
