weird stalling

I hope someone can help. I have a1994 F-250 460 automatic, 150,000 miles. First problem it just died, lights work would crank. It sat a few hours and started. Shut it off a couple of times and would not start. Had lights and starter. Put on a new electronic ignition modual and fuel filter, fresh tuneup. When it dies I do not lose my radio stations, lights or starter, it just dies. Some times will start right up other times it has to sit. Thanks for any help. Mark Rehr, eastern Iowa

TFI module. Don't buy an aftermarket one, get a Motorcraft either from the dealer or from the junkyard (my personal choice ).

FWIW, Ford got sued for this. That's when the relocated the modules off of the distributor, and onto the fenderwell. They also put that big heatsink around them.

Thanks for the help. The TFI I called iginition module. Did not buy Ford. PVC is cheap to try but really does not sound right. What about fuel regulator? I have tried switching tanks (pumps) and it does the same thing. Mark
