What to do ????
I recently was given the opportunity to get two scrap pickups with motors. One is a 78 F150 2WD with a 351W, the other is a 80 F250 2WD with a 400.
I have a 77 F150 2WD 400 C6, I am going to need a fresh rebuild for my truck soon , so my only interest is to get the engine from one of these pickups, but which one?? I noticed there are a lot more performance parts for the windsor than there are for the "M" engines . I use the truck daily and surprise many people off the greenlight, so I want a HP engine with reliability.
Does any one out here have the windsor, and how has it for you??
also , the 78 is going to be sold for scraps, its been kept in a barn for 12 years,it will be less a motor :O)

What to do ????
I agree with jc, The 400 will bolt up no changes. To use the 351, you would most likely have to change everything from the rearend forward.
What part of the country are you in with the 78??

CARTER 625 cfm
thanx, I was leaning to the 400 , cause I have some goodies already for it {>
will get the 78 though , all i have to do is tow it away
sell it for parts, any one interested e me at seanwb@tisd.net
