6.0 Cost
2003 F250 6.0, looks like the engine is gone, its under warrenty (glad I got that). But wondering what a new 6.0 is running? Anyone? Stealership and warrenty company trying to figure out whats cheapest, looks like the block is bad. Fails the compression test on the low end.

Why should you care how much it costs? They will probably put in a used engine which will be just as good, since it is an aftermarket warranty. Used they are about 5k. Lots of people on here work at "stealerships" and provide great information. Without "stealerships" we would have no new vehicles and no one that would know how to work on them. I do not work for one, but I have in the past. I think for somethings the dealers charge too much, but for like for most things you are paying for the knowledge and support of the factory instead of taking it to bubbas chicken and brakes and hope they can guess whats wrong the first time.
