Steering Column

K so Ive decided that I'm going to put an aftermarket column in my 67 shorty. Is anybody running an aftermarket column on here ( Flamming River, IDIDIT, etc)? and how would I measure to figure out what exactly I am looking for??

Either of those companies should know which column to use, they have provided hundreds of columns for that year series truck.

i have the ididit on my truck. should have gotten it with the shifter on it but wasn't sure which tranny i would go with. they have a direct bolt on for our trucks. good quality, nice looking chrome. a hazard switch(never had one of those.lol) bolts right in. wiring is a little different but not bad, and you need relay's for the horn but other than that i love it.

The IDIDIT piece looks pretty good. and I think its pretty reasonable on pricing. Did you go with the swivel mount or just a basic mounting bracket?

i tried the factory firewall bracket but my cab sit's a little low. when i get the mounts and rubber replaced i'll decide if i want the swivel or not.
