Need electrical help

I have a 2003 7.3L f-250 4wd, when I open my door with the key in the off position still in the ign my door chime and interior light goes out in roughly 20 seconds. Also if I hit my door lock switch to locked position(key out of ign) it unlocks before I close the door. Can anyone tell what I have going on here? Thanks

Sounds like a VSM (Vehilce Security Module)problem.
