Ken I receive email questions directly from readers of this list regulary. I sent an email to several posting members of this list regarding this issue, and those that responded all agreed.
We would like to have an option to have direct email. We could fill in the box and have our email address with REMOVETHIS in that address as old, and not have to go through the non reply system that you offer now. I'd also have use of my spell checker, that I badly need.
You might want to ask for a response, while you consider this. I have always used my name, and my email id, and dont post with different IDs like others here have. If you want to get in touch with me, I want you to be able to find me.

Sorry, but the current version of DCForum doesn't support that yet. Someone is working on a hack to fix it and I'll put it in as soon as its available. I to, want this feature, because many people don't bother to read the directions at the bottom on the email the message boards send and reply directly, which means it ends up in my emailbox.

I have gotten two such emails via the Forum and each time my replies were thrown back with a message such as 'no such address'. Trying to reload only results in scrubbing out my eliquent response, urrrrrrrrrrr.
>No such address?
The actual message is 'No such user...try again'
I will readily admit is am computer stupid but when I click on the URL , which takes me directly to this Forum, there is only a box to insert a title and another for the response. Is there another place on the email page that I have to re-insert the emailer's address? I just don't see it anywhere.
Thanks for the ear.

I agree that I don't care much for the e'mail set up the way it is now, but if you're working on getting it fixed that's all I can ask. Otherwise, keep up the good work.
