tempermental wiper switch
my wiper switch seems to have a bad connection in it. I have to wiggle the end **** to make them work sometimes, mostly on the intermittent settings. when i flip the high beams off or on the wipers will quit and i have lightly wiggle the **** and they take off again.
anybody had this prob?
can I pop the end **** off the switch and clean a connection or something?

I took it apart and cleaned it; it's very easy to do. Just pop the end cap off and the back half of the arm off. Remove the one screw on the end and it all slides apart. Catch the two caps and spring that will fall out. Clean out all the old grease and repack it all with new dielectric grease.
This fixed worked for me for 2 days, then stopped working again. Guess I have to buy a new switch. Always worth it to go for the free fix first though
