updates on my project

As some of you may know I have a 51 f-1. I haven't been on for a while since I stopped messing with it. The 350 I swapped in had a busted starter bolt hole and you couldn't keep a starter on it. About 2 months ago my dads friend got a 76 chevy van with a running 350/350 combo. I bought it for $300 and pulled the motor and tranny. We scrapped the van remains and got $230 so I was happy. I had to swap oilpans and when I did I saw it was a 4 bolt main motor and was spotless inside. I have got it bolted in and just have to do some wiring and mounts a gas tank and it will be a running truck. Then I get to fix the brakes but it shouldn't be bad. I already have rear wheel cylinders and a master cylinder rebuild kit. I can turn the drums at school so I am. I am out of school until january 4th so me and dad should have it unning and hopefully stopping by then. And also parts of the 59 f-100 and 76 f-100 I had are living on in this truck. The 59 donated its 9 inch and I kept the wheels of the 76

J,

It sounds like you've made a huge amount of progress! Not as much as Niolon, of course, but more than just about any of the rest of us. Post us some nice pictures so we can see. We are all enthralled with shiny things.
