charging issue

charging issue

my truck 92 f150 302 4x4 is not charging and there is no feed to the white wire the drawing i have says that it run the light in the dash can i fix it by just giving this wire a 12v feed ps i had the altanater tested by a rebiulder here and he says its working fine

There are no white wires leaving the alternator.
There is a white wire with a black stripe going from the stator to the regulator.
But you would not want to mess with that wire.

When my charging system died, it was a broken wire behind the instrument cluster that was the culprit...ended up paying a mechanic to repair it as I had exhausted all patience with it.

Chek the lite green with red stripe wire going to the alternator. This should be 12volts with key on and 0volts with key off. If this does not delivery 12 volts, your alternator will never turn on and charge.

i did a cab swap and changed the wiring for the 92 into the cab and forgot about the 92 clusteris diffrent she chargeing now but man i was at the end of my rope with it
