Newbie Tire Help
I bought my 08 F250 used a month or so ago (love it). Today it was raining pretty good and I noticed it was a little fishy on the road. Also, when trying to drive up a clay road onto my property I was slipping and sliding all over the place and ended up sliding into a drainage rut and bending up my step rail on the passenger side.
If I were to get new tires what would you guys reccomend? It has the Goodyear AT/S on there now and they are worn but not worn OUT .. so I am not sure just going back with those would be all that much of an improvement.
Seeking the knowledge of the masses!

Thanks!
Craig
You will find that opinions vary widely on which tires are the best. As for my opinion I would go with BF Goodrich TA radials. I've been running then for probably 10 years with good success.
I got started with these tires after going to a truck pull and noticing that everybody that hooked up to the sled was running this brand of tire. After getting good recommendations regarding traction from a couple of drivers I decided to try a set and have never looked back.

I think when I get back from Christmas vacation I will be ordering up a set of those bad boys. : )
