Driver Side Speakers Not Working. Help?
All driver side speakers are not working, we tried running new wires to the 2 rear driver side from the head, they worked for like a day or so and are gone again. And now none of the driver side speakers are working. We also tried regrounding the head, no luck. The passenger side speakers work flawlessly. We had a dvd setup in the back, afterstock, that best buy put it a long time ago along with holes in the ceiling and now that's *****ed so we took all the ***** for that out of the dash and it's just sitting there pointlessly, but we just want the driver side speakers fixed for our NY to FL trip in like 5 days, and I'd really appreciate any ideas.

Was the dvd a FM modulator for the sound (rebroadcast or plugged into the antenna type)? There is a procedure to do a walk around test on the 99-04 radios, I'm not sure if it works for the 05+
1. Turn the radio on and place it in AM/FM mode
2. Simultaneously press the audio unit preset buttons 3 and 6 to enter speaker walk around test mode.
3. Press Preset button 1 to start the self test
4. After the self test is done use the “DISC TUNE” right button to display the codes
5. To exit the self-diagnostic mode, turn the ignition switch off or the audio unit off.
