Need paint color code or brand
I bought the wife some component speakers for Christmas. The tweeter housings are black. Her Ex interior is tan. What color # brand or what do I need to buy? Would like to paint the tweeter housings and put them back in the box under the tree.

What tan do have? There are 3-4 tans from the 99-04 range. My suggestion would be to take the fuse box cover cover (the bigger one that's the color of the dash as it was years ago) in to a store that sells SEM's vinyl dyes.

look at the product sticker located on the "B" pillar down by the sill plate on the drivers door. (that's were mine is). there is a interior code on the sticker.
then take the code and search the net for the color match. If I remember my code was for medium parchment (tan).

The two digit BODY code defines the interior color and type of upholstery and is listed on the Certification Label, located on the B pillar.
For 2000, H is the first digit of the BODY code and decodes to Parchment. I do not have a Ford truck parts catalog that covers 2001 and later.
H might also have been used for 2001/2005's.
