It used to be a little dark, years ago. Now it has a little green tint to it. It is almost clear except for a little green tint to it. Bio diesel may have a little more color to it. I have seen some that has some brown in it. In any case, if you were to fill up a milk jug, you would be able to see through it.
Ok guys, I finally got around to changing the oil. It smoked some right after changing oil and starting. I took it for a 10 mile drive, upon returning I did not noticed any definate smoke at idle. Not sure if it's fixed or not. I know my older 92 does not smoke period.
Glad to hear that things appear to be going your way. Just to let you know, it has been in the single digits in the morning, and I haven't been plugging either of my trucks in, wife loves her Christmas lights. Anyhow, both trucks have been smoking pretty heavily right at start up, and it is somewhat bluish. It does clear up in a couple minutes though.
I definately have driven it hard since the injector change. The air filter box is for sure not 100%, the typical clips are broken on front side so it does not seal it good. I was going to change over to the 6637 mod. The oil has not been changed since injector was replaced. Also, not sure if it's related, but the truck runs too cold as far as I am concerned, right at the first line above the C. I bought a new thermostat just in case that is the problem, have not put it in yet.
If the clips on the air box are broken I would address this soon. You can dust the engine like this. Clay also sells a 6637 kit that comes with the filter, adapter tube, and a cover for the filter. Riffraff Diesel: RDP 6637 Filter Kit

If the clips on the air box are broken I would stop driving the truck until you got this fixed. Dusting the turbo is your best hope, dusting the entire engine from broken clips means thousands of dollars for a new motor.

I would not drive it either. I guess I should of emphasized the importance of it a little more.
What is it doing ? 2 of the 3 clips on front side are broke, it still seems tightly locked down, or at least I can't push the top of the air box down any further.
So............ ?

It's ingesting dirt into your turbo and motor. The first check is to remove the lid off the air filter and inspect the tube going back toward the turbo. If there is any sign of dust inside that tube, or if you can swipe your finger inside that tube and leave a clean streak, then you're letting too much dirt inside your engine.
Let me do some searching. Check back to this post and I'll add links for signs of a dusted turbo or engine. Whatever you do STOP DRIVING until you change the intake filtration.
