Headers on 99?

I am sure this has been beat to death, but has anyone done headers on a 99 with the EGR valve? I am down to Thorley's and Banks for my choice if either make them with the EGR well. Did you order new EGR plumbing as well? Mine looks like it may need it.

You can get either of those headers with the EGR bung. There was a post not too long ago where someone here replaced their manifold studs (don't remember who, but from canada) and he had to unplug the EGR from the manifold. He ended up breaking off the EGR tube because it was rusted up real good and had a thin wall too boot.

Both companies accommodate for EGR.

I found a used set of Banks headers that came off of a wrecked 04. In Banks part numbers it lists w/egr late cat and w/egr early cat, I am hoping the only difference would be between the Y pipes. Anyone know what the difference is?

Yes it has to do with the y-pipe mounting flange on the converter. Early is behind the crossmember, and late is in front of the crossmember.

Thanks Antelope v-10, just what I was looking for. I am sure I can make something work between my SPD Y and the Banks Y if I get these.
