Pretty rough. We actually had that happen here a few years ago too. The catch was that while the numerous dogs in the trailer were feeding on the dead woman, her husband and sons were sitting there eating breakfast while the dogs were eating the mom. It was kind of like a scene out of the movie Wrong Turn. If you haven't seen it, watch it sometime.

Something wrong with those dogs,............There are reports of deceased owners being found with dogs that died of starvation before assuming that behavior...........Something I would expect from cats, not dogs.

While it's not something we would like to think about...I'm sure it happens much more often than is reported.

It's definitely happened before, by several different breeds of dogs. I've never heard of a cat dining on a corpse. My cats are too picky to eat a rotting me, anyway.

Why would one assume a cat would do that before a dog? I've never seen cats follow a horse down the road, snarfing road apples and I HAVE seen dogs do that on many an ocaission.

In any case, once dead, it's either cats, dogs, birds, bugs, worms or something else, that'll dine on the remnants of our body. So, what do it matter? Hopefully your soul or ... if you prefer.. your "energy" will be off galavanting somewhere else anyway.

A famous Hollywood silent screen actress died in 1936. Her Dachsund, trapped in the sleazy apartment she was living it...devoured her.

This actress' voice was not suitable for sound films. She could not longer get an film roles, so she drank herself to death.
