460 oil amount?

460 oil amount?

hello,all how much oil does my 85 f350 460 hold?
I have'nt changed it yet don't know if it's 5,6,or7?

One gallon is just about right for my 460, and it cheaper to buy it by the gallon, or between 4-5 quarts.

With filter, it should be 6 us quarts on a change.

6 quarts w/ the filter. Some trucks like 7qts because the dipstick does not go in all the way
