window motor repair.

I have two window motors down right now. The plastic rollers are gone in the gear box. I called Ford here and the boneheads told me they no longer carry that kit. Only new motor assemblies. I'm not buying that!

Anyway, I have a lathe and am going to make the rollers. I have a bunch of delrin rod out in the shop and hope it will work. It's been a while since I did one of these but delrin seems about the same as the original parts if I remember right. I'll let everyone know how it works.

I haven't seen the part you are talking about but I have purchased a new window motor for about $40.

Well the front door went good. I made the new rollers for inside the motor geatbox for about nothing and it works good as new now. I will make a big box full of these when I have time.

Now I just need to find out how to get the left rear door motor out and I can fix it too. Anyone know how to remove the motor on a rear crew cab door?
