Slow downshifting
ive got a 94 f150 302 4R70W with 116,000 and im having issues with the shifting.The main problem is if the truck is in overdrive or any gear with a severe load on it and i approach a hill the truck doesnt downshift as quick as it should and it causes the truck to start what i can only describe as a shudder and as soon as i apply more gas the truck downshifts and clears right up and does fine until that scenario happens again.Also when im rolling from a dead stop or going kinda slow if i punch it the downshift is severely slow in kicking in like almsot 3 to 4 seconds b4 it will kick down and get up and go.I dont know if its a transmission solonoid causeing it to delay the shifting or what,or maybe a speed sensor.im clueless on the whole issue.the truck has done this since i purchased it and ive already changed the tranny fluid and filter and the fluid wasnt overly burnt or anything.Any advice or clues would be much appreciated......
