I have looked on ebay for a GPR and found a few sellers. I am wondering if anyone on her has dealt with ebay sellers in reference to the GPR. I have purchased a few things on ebay before, but nothing to do work a working part for a vehicle. The previous buys have only been for small things.

Any input on valued sellers names?
Thanks
For a glow plug relay I would just buy new local. Don't think the savings on ebay would justify. This way you would hold the part in your hand and could confirm. I don't buy routine wear parts on ebay unless they are NEW but then the size and cost has to justify the purchase.

Al,
I won a bid on a "lot" sale. One of the items was a brand new OEM GPR with shunt. It is supposed to be here tomorrow. I wanted the other items in the lot but have no need for the GPR. If interested PM me.

Some years come with a GPR that has a shunt so that when a glow plug and or wiring goes bad the PCM can tell which head it is on and set the appropriate DTC. This GPR can be installed with or without shunt depending on whether or not the GPR you are replacing has a shunt.
I bought a fan clutch for my PowerStroke from one of the ebay dealers with thousands of replies and after removing the old one turned out the new clutch had bolt holes slightly different than the old one. I think it was from gas engine.
The seller had no idea what he is selling and after initial response didn't confirm covering the cost of shipping it back.
Finally had to do PayPal complain and buy the clutch at the dealer. Mention that you are business owner and dealer will give you about 30% discount.
I did hundreds successful transactions on ebay, but rare parts are hard to measure on the picture.
