clutch/trans noise?

clutch/trans noise?
1989 f150 2wd 302 mazda 5spd
ive been hearing a noise coming from my tranny/clutch it sounds like running water sometimes it stops when i push the clutch pedal sometimes its always making the noise- the noise doesnt accel/decel it is just there. what is it?

Does sound like input shaft bearing.
Mine does it. 89 4.9 M5R2
If I push the clutch in and put it in gear - as long as the truck is standing still - there is no noise.
Once the truck starts to move (even with the clutch in) or I let off on clutch the sound comes back.
Have noticed that the higher the gear the less noise it makes.
I'm just living with it.

sorry for the delayed response. yeah thats exactly what mine is doing, it also has a slow leak, i just recently changed the fluid in it but i dont remember if it stopped i only notice it when its there. thanks for the help its much appreciated
