So the brake swap WILL work up to 79, it is the power steering option that you are speaking of...right? Not everybody has room for a parts truck or a wife that's patient enough for that. In a perfect world, that would be the answer; for me its not.
John, Just so I'm understanding also- If we have a 352 FE then we need to use a donor '73-'76 for all of the upgrades? Anything past that is not direct bolt on? Am I understanding that correctly? Thanks
This is for all upgrades, the engine parts mostly are for addressing the power steering side that most include at the same time.

Giving plenty of extra time the swap should be complete in 30 days, two weekends for most. If you can't make a pack with your wife for 30 days I would question as to whether you should pass on doing the work yourself.
As posted prior the guys that have had problems with their upgrades all seem to be the ones that bought a piece meal package. When you have your donor, regardless of where it is stored you have access to all the parts.
I have been a part of helping hundreds of owners upgrade their trucks, have read the forums here daily for longer than the site reset join date shows, and will not change my mind on recommending buying your donor truck for power disc brake & power steering upgrades.
