DP Tuners web-site says between 5000-9000 for the 80T http://www.dp-tuner.com/index.php?p=...d=103&parent=5 , so I think your fine but like the guys said, watch your EGT's. Congrats on the added power, nothing like stock, thats for sure.

Reason: Added EGT'S
Yeah, I've always enjoyed driving my truck, but after installing the DP Tuner, I find myself looking forward to driving it and "playing" with it more than I ever did before. The old saying holds true....."the difference between the men and the boys is the price of their toys".
BTW, I had my truck for over a year with the BullyDog programmer and was used to it. With the 37 inch tall tires, it was a chore to even turn the tires over....even on wet pavement. The VERY first time I drove the truck with the DP Tuner, I had it set on 80 Econo(because it was wet out) and quickly spun the truck sideways the first 100 feet of the test drive! The truck has spunk I haven't seen before.
Yea Jody said 80T should be fine just to watch my temps. Just curious to others that have been using it for a while, not sure when we are going camping again.
I towed my loaded up 7,000-7,500 pd 31 foot TT in 60T down to Tn. up and down those mountains and averaged, between pedal action, 800* on the straights up to 1200* on the climbs, staying in OD, maybe jumped out of OD a couple times but those are the averages. I never used the 80E on that trip unless I was unhooked, didn't want to chance it. Hope this helps..
What did I miss PMS going strong? Yea doesn't seem to be a lot of us here in the bay area or Nor Cal on here. Not too sure on MPG increase yet still trying to stay off the go pedal only had it installed for a week now.
If you are good you can get higher but if you play excessively it will stay about the same. Which is ok because normally I usually lose mileage when I play that much.
OK...I got a few extra pennies.... Christmas shopping is done...so my turn.
So ummmm
Jodie.... Cliff.....
If I order mine tomorrow....when can I get it?
I am DYING to get mine. ordered it awhile back but had to cancel due to stupid kid. But now I am ready.
If you want to get it before Christmas you need to order today. I'll be at school from 10:30-11:00 for a workshop and then again at 1:00 for one of my kids Xmas parties. If you don't get me and you already know what you want, process it online. It will ship out tomorrow.

I have the same size and weight camper as Big Poppa and the same size tires as you Ren, and I towed down to Tenn. in 60T. I towed back in 80E and it was fine. I liked it better. I only have the muffler delete and 6637 intake. On some of the long grades you need to watch the EGT's but it works fine.
