Most impressive pics. This spring I'll be doing the same for my bumpers and grill. Jury's still out over the wheel wells though. I may just re paint them as they are getting pretty rusty.
Mine were rusting too. If you've got a mediocre welder, buy a patch panel then cut out what you need and weld it in as best you can. The Line-X is thick enough that you don't really need bondo, and it will seal the fender up from future rust. If you want pics, look in my gallery. I had mine done.
I really like the look minus the grill. Again I think I'm going to do the rockers, bumpers and cab steps. Hopefully this will help prevent rust issues down the road. I plan on keeping my rig for 10+ years. Did anyone see the dodge on this months diesel power mag cover? I'm after the same look but it'll be a FORD!
When you did the rear bumper did you remove the back-up sensors or just tape them off? Also did you remove the top plastic piece? I'm going to print this tread and take to my line-x dealer. Want it done right.
awesome looking,my buddy owns line-x out here and I`m going to show him the pics. He sprayed the hood black for his huntin dogs but not the bumper and grill..Good job
I did have the air dam sprayed. I took the bumper in there in three pieces. The top plastic, middle metal and lower plastic air dam. I did have to ream some of the holes because after the line-x was sprayed the holes were not big eniugh to clip all three back together.
Here is my update. Got the bumper and grill back on. I like it, now I need to get the stock fender flares, rear bumper, and rip the trim off the doors and get that area done. Also want to mount some driving lights behind the grill. Trying to decide on a design for a custom billet badge....PMS is never ending.
