brake issue
Now the issue.
I have a 93 F150 5.0 that I purchased about a year ago. I replaced the booster and master cylinder ( the master cylinder was leaking). I bled the master cylinder and the brake system and have good brakes. When appling the brakes the brake lights go on and off until the pedal is fully depressed. The only problem with this is while under braking they wont stay lit. I did a search on here and found somewhat of a similar issue that recommended to replace the switch on the pedal. Since I don't think this was an issue before I changed the booster and master cylinder could it be something from that causing my problem?
myne was low and it would give me a brake light until i hit the brakes, causing the fluid to slosh up on to the sensor and make the light go off. And then the light would come back on after i slowed. Just a thought.
Actually pretty easy to get to. This one though isn't the screw in kind.
I did check the fluid and it is full.
While I was out checking this. I think I have a better explaination of what its doing.
As you push on the brake pedal all is fine, then the pedal goes a little soft this is when the brake lights go out. This cycle is repeated until you are at a full stop with firm pressure on the pedal.
Any thoughts ?
