Restoring 88 reg cab

New guy here. Own 88 f 150 4x4 that I purchased from orginal owner in 1997. Shes been a good old truck, never let me down. Body and paint is needing some tlc now, so I'd like to get her back in shape. My question is : some of the four body seams on the top four corners of the cab leak. Looks like there is some type of filler in there from factory. Anyone ever repair those ? And how and with what ?

You first have to clean out the old sealant. Then you need seam sealer. 3m makes it, any bodyshop supplier will have it http://www.levineautoparts.com/3malautsealc.html
