new performance head ???
Right now he has production problems with his 200ci head. He'll have to get that solved first. Friend of mine has been waiting 4 months for delivery.
There's been a decade of use (@ least) of the Australian intake on the 250 called cross-flow that has measured 500hp. (See: classic in lines, ford six sites).

Again, it bears some checkin out.

UPDATE 9-7-07
Classic Inlines is developing an aluminum head for the Big Six (240/300ci) Ford inline six engine. At the present time, we are having the pattern maker re-work the patterns as we were not happy with the results. For some strange reason, they made the head similar to a shoe box, without any form or shape. sine this was unacceptable, the patterns have been shipped and the proto types heads were not cast as planned. As soon as the patterns are re-worked, and acceptable, we will cast three or four heads, machining, and flow test. Information and pictures will be posted as it becomes available. Sorry for the delay, but we felt it was better to delay the project.
UPDATE 12-1-08
We've had a lot of guys asking about the new head, so I thought I'd post an update. Basically the patterns are done and the fisrt proto types have been cast, and we ready to start the programing for the machine work. However due to the slow economy and poor sales we've been forced to put the head on the back burner for the time being. Once the economy and sales pick up, we'll jump back on it. But who knows when that will be? Sorry.

UPDATE 9-1-09
We've started working on the programming and hope to have our first proto type cylinder head by the end of October or November. At that point we'll select one of our forum members, who has a big six, and have them install and test the new head. If all goes well during testing, no changes need to be made to the pattern, and sales continue to pick up, we hope to order the first batch of production heads early next year.
Does anyone know why the Aussie head has not made it across the pacific to the USA?
I do not think they will even bolt up to the 300. If I can find my link to the forum I was checking out I will post some threads which will explain.
OK I found it...
