Engine clinking noises, and brake problems
I have a 67 FORD F-100. I have noticed for the past few weeks that there is a loud noise coming from the engine. I noticed that the fan is really loose. I fear that that might be where the clinking is coming from... Possible water pump problem??? if so how hard is it to get a new water pump in there? Also brakes have been failing. Brakes have almost no effect when gaing over 15 mph. To slow the truck down I must down shift. Thats all i know about that. What is the deal with it any suggestions?

if you can grab the fan while the engine is off and move it, yes you need a water pump. They are easy to change. Brakes?? There's just too much to ask and say here. Perhaps you should have it looked at by someone who can diagnose the problem.
