help on power steering
Gentlemen and ladies, I hope someone out there has done this and can help me out. I am a very proud owner of a 61 f-250 4x4 (Frankenstein). I am currently trying to figure out the best way of converting her over to power steering. I plan on changing out the column for a later model tilt/auto unit. I have toyed with the idea of a rack and pinion unit, as I have converted my ' 68 mustang this way, but I feel that this would not be strong enough. Can anybody give me any suggestions on a box that will fit in without too much modification to the frame. I am limited on space as I am running a 460 with 1-3/4 inch primaries and as you know this is a tight squeeze between those old frame rails. any haelp will be very appreciated..Bill
