If you only have about 300 pounds of metal... you'll lose your bootox hauling it over on the ferry. Here, I'm scrapping tin and thin steel. It's only $50 a ton right now. But, I am desperate for money, so I'll do what I have to, which is drive a route of three dumpster sites, picking up all the washers, dryers, stoves and any other small scrap that I can toss into the prepared steel truck.
I don't know who it is, but I hear that Spokane buys and pays decently enough for a guy here to buy our scrap and haul it there & still make a profit for both of us.
