Laying all jokes aside, My 1986 Z28 with the standard Qjet 305 auto purchased new has 194K miles on it, and has given me virtually no trouble. All my buddies 14 years ago blew me away in their GT's, RX7's and 280z's but they don't have those any more, traded for sport utes, minivans, sedans, or some other kind of sell-out vehicle and I still have ole' reliable.
I did buy a LT-1 Vette in 1995, now I have the best of both worlds!!!!
1971 Orange/White Sport Custom Ranger.
Black Interior, Virtually all untouched original including paint, am radio, interior, rims/hubcaps, auto trans, 302,
Purchased new by Grandfather in 1971, driven daily until his death in 1988. Garage kept, no rips in dash, very small wear on seat. Only 70K miles.
I used to work at the Ford assembly plant in #####. Louis, Mo.
If a worker brought a non Ford to work, he`d catch hell from his co-workers. If he brought a Jap crap to work,he had to park it in another lot to keep it from getting destroyed. I`m not sure if they let them in the main parking area now or not, but I always thought that was a good idea. Randy
We still have plenty of season time left, just tell me when and where!
Haha Thanks for the invite. Not gonna happen this year anyway.

Sounds like a classy bunch of people working there..
Am I alone in thinking the current run of GM trucks is the best looking they've put out since 87'? Only thing missing is the old NV4500 that would make them worthwhile..
I am not a fan of the new GM pickup truck looks !!! If I had to pick a chevy on looks alone I would go for the 99',,00',,single Bar grill style,,,, before the Slant headlights,,I think they were called,,,,"The Truck",,,lol,,my neighor works for a chev dealer back then,,,he said the were coming off the rail cars,,,with bent frames,,from tying them down.,,,,NICE !!

I hope you're joking! I bought a '93 extra cab new and thought it was a great-looking truck. But the new ones just reek of ugly. I borrowed my father-in-law's '09 last year and couldn't get over how truly ugly it was. In my opinion (for whatever that's worth) it's the only truck uglier than the last generation Dodges.
