I got about 70k on my OE Goodyear ATS tires and its time to change them. I have a 2006 Liariat Screw and am looking for recommendations. I do alot of towing etc... so i want a C rated tire.
I have been looking Bridgestone D695's, BF goodrich all terrian, Yokahama Geolanders or just putting the same goodyear ATS back on my truck. I am not that happy with the Goodyear tires thou, they are not that good in the snow and i have always had some vibration with these. But they are the cheapest.
I really don't want a mud tire or BFG KO tire. I do mostly highway driving etc... and don't really have a need for a true all terrian. I am more concernted about the look of the truck and how it handles in weather. I also don't want to decrease my MPG. size is 275/65/R18
I can't speak to those tires but I just put some Cooper Discoverer M&S on my truck for the winter (first winter). 07 SCab 2wd 4.10 LS, 245/70R17 on oem rims. We just had our first snow and I'm pleased with how they handle so far. Most of my driving is urban, and I only had to go through about 6" of snow so far. No fish tailing, no turning issues, handles well so far. It's early yet but so far they're doing well for me.
