i have 1964 f-250 ,who makes cab mount repair panels. according to some parts magazines they are different than 65 on up,which i can find. also, what year fuel sending units are the same as 64?
I have a fuel sending unit for starters...drop me your email and I will help ya out...secondly, the pans are the same 61-4 as far as floor pans and the steps inside the door. The cab mounts I THINK are the same for 65 and 66 F350 I believe it would also be the same as 65 F100 and 250 4WD and 1966 F250 4WD...
As for repops...I would suggest Dennis Carpenter or Carolina Classics if you can find a good donor in a wrecking yard.
You may not be interested in diagnosing your problem. Even if you are and do the tests outlined in the linked article you may still need a whole new unit. But this is a great primer on "how-to" that many of us may find useful. The site pertains to generation 5 F-series trucks, but the fuel tank sending units in our generation 4's are similar enough in operation that that doesn't matter.
