Havent looked at triumph site yet, but here is the Pitt Electric site:http://www.pittauto.com/ford_engines.shtml

They list the following weights:
300 I6 is 473 lbs
302/351 V8 is 550 lbs
460 v8 is 713 lbs

It is interesting to note that both sites are in the same ball park if not on the money in some cases. Surprising to see that there is not as much difference between the 429/469 and the FEs as I remembered.

Triumph site lists a Ford 255 V8 Windsor. Interesting I just saw that listed for one year on the F150 in the early 1980's.

I will go with the I6 170-250 at 385 lbs and the I6 240-300 at 473. It makes more sense since the 240-300 is a "big block" six.

Thanks everybody. P.S. Pit Electric also gives engine dimensions and other data.

I agree with that 100%.....especially since the triumph site did not list a weight for it. Looks like someone on the first site did a copy paste error.

260-302-450lbs
351W----510lbs
FE blocks650lbs...they are actually lighter than the 385 bblocks.
if you have one with an aluminum intake minus 50lbs off of that.
