Exhaust ('ted)

Working on a project and wanted to make sure I've got this right...none of the '99-'03 7.3L powered trucks had a kitty in the exhuast. The Kitty is a 6.0L (and newer) thing thanks to our friends in the EPA. Correct? Like I said, working on a project and want to make sure I've got my notes together before I open my alligator mouth.

I know my EX doesn't have one and they are all Cali trucks. So I would guess you are correct.

The pre-99 (OBS) DID have a cat. My '97 used to have one, many moons ago.

Sorry, it does appear to be cut and dry.. if you have a 6 speed, it has the catalytic convertor. I still havent found the thread I was looking for, but at least I have this for you.
