its a little hard with out know what year it is. what mods?
my guess would be you have a high pressure oil leak concern. can be stc fitting, block offs, stand pipes or ipr valve. do you have a code reader?

It's a 2004 excursion with an 06 engine with an Elite high pressure fuel system and an egr delete kit. I have the throttle body still plugged in but it has an aftermarket elbow. Most of the electronics are from the 04 including the turbo. Although the IDM was built in 08 for the 06. It could be lots but I'm just out of ideas. No engine codes are popping up at all
