Data Plate: 133 = Wheel Base. Long Bed.
V = Color. In this case it is Medium Sliver Metalic.
F263 = Type(F Series) and Gross Vehicle Weight. For the F250 4x4 my book only shows: F-260(6750), F-261(7500), and F-262(7700lbs).
AA4 = Interior - 1st "A" is for Custom interior Gray. 2nd "A" is for seat type - Bench. 4 = Style side pickup.
A = Transmission-New Process 435 4 speed.
24J = Axle type, rear: Dana 60 and you have power steering.
06700 = Gross vehicle weight so I would suspect you have a a Dana 44HD in the front.
1977 = My book doesn't show it but I would guess it's the year of manufacture.
57 = DSO number. This is the District Code for where the truck was sent from the factory. 57 = Houston, TX
Where was the data plate located on the door and where would I find the info to read so I might find out what the original equipment was on my f-250 . Main thing I'd like to know would be the engine size which I Know and trans it's supossed to have .
