Sorry, the wife grabbed my attention yesterday....

I remember that drive home it was stinking hot and low and behold very hot air was pushing out of my defroster....the heater was working. After that, it was always easy to heat the can toasty. Moral of the story is ensure that the lines and core are burped of air. I thought I had that taken care of, but I didn't. You could always try parking your truck on a steep decline for a few hours to see if it does some magic on your heating woes...beats replacing the t-stat over and over.

Hey guys, I thought I would bump this back to the top & let everybody know that the thermostat did the trick.

the motorcraft stat is working well, I now have heat in the cab & the engine temp is right where it's supposed to be.

Great to hear, especially when it -7 out, that heat gets real important!! When it gets that cold and no heat, or defrost, you need to scrap the inside of the windows from breathing in there, its crazy!!

But glad all is well!!
