1973 body swap
Here's my sit rep... I have a 1973 F100 long bed with a 302 and 3 speed on the column 2wd. Body is really good except the bed floor and bed braces are shot. The frame looks ok, i think but i need to remove the bed to get a better look see. I have a 1964 F100 short bed frame and box. Am I able to swap everything over to the 64 frame? I want to use the short bed box so I'd be cutting up the frame on the 73. But my 64 frame is blasted and painted to perfection.. Any help fellas

No, you cant just "swap the parts over".
So you have a nice painted 64 frame, why do you need to cut up the 73 frame again?
Whats wrong with the 73 frame? If i am understanding you correctly, you want to spend 200 hours modifying your 73 to fit on the older frame just because you painted it already?
just get a better bed and swap that part and be done with it.
