2008 Tail lights

Yes-it's a very simple procedure. The taillight itself is a direct fit-the only difference is the 2008 backup light bulb uses a different plug. I have seen pigtails available from Ford to adapt the plug or you can do like I did and search your local salvage yard- I found a 2004 or newer F-150 front turn signal harness uses the same plug. Just remember the backup light is on top so be sure to cut the wires long so the harness will reach! I recommend soldering the 2 wires then shrink wrap them.
