My V10 will out pull your PSD any day of the week.*

*If you have a stock 7.3 with 3.73s or 3.55s and 4 speed auto. Test must be at sea level

I will smoke the 6.0,6.4 and new 6.7 after I do the twin turbo mod.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's a guys siggy that usually hangs out in the superduty forum. You have that big general claim in red and you look further on down and you see that he is truly only talking about one psd and a psd with certain restrictions as well.

Now my gas modding knowledge is pretty basic, but even after that twin turbo mod, I think he would still have restrictions on the other engines(or atleast the 6.0) with just being tuned at the most(the 6.4 can do a helluva lot just tuned and I'm willing to bet the same will go for the 6.7 as well) as even with doing stuff like turbo and injectors, "you" don't get the wild hp additions like you do with a diesel or is that really only true with just tuning?

Anyone else find that a little funny about all this or am I just a little twisted and not right in the head(which is still possible(and likely depending on who you ask) even if you agree with me about that being funny).

Must be at sea level and the Powerstroke running up hill and me down hill!!!! HaHA . He seems so confident and then has stipulations to the challenge. I would like to see the twin turbo v10 pulling in the mountains on a 100 degree day.

I'm sure you've seen the "V10 vs. PSD" thread that's been going on in the Super-Duty forum for who knows how long. I believe the guy with that sig is the one who started that thread.

I saw it, but I never really looked into the thread. When I first saw it, I knew it was just an argument waiting to happen.

I find it kinda funny that they are all hot and bothered about a v10. It takes a gasser 2 extra cylinders to do what we can do. Oh well, they have to have something to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

My pops has an 02 ex w the v10 loves it, even after I won the argument about the diffrence in our transmitions. He has never once posed the question of tourqe, pulling, hauling only that he can seat 3 more inside than I can. The old gear head already knows.

Sounds to me that his wife told him he what he could spend on a truck. So he had to sacrifice the diesel for something else. Gassers always try to compare their engine to diesels. They dont know that a diesel will stomp their a$$ when it comes to torque per horsepower.

I was tempted to start something in the 6.7 price thread as he is also commenting in that one, but I think I've finally gotten to the point where I can't do arguing like that anymore. Gotten too damn old I reckon.

Just remember, real trucks don't have spark plugs. I challenge any 460 or V10 (modified or stock) hook up to a 15k 5th wheel, try to keep up with me...and get the same mileage; they can't. Yeah, their fuel cost less and the 6.0L has some problems but there isn't a V10 out there that can compete with a PSD.
