Good call. I should point out in my article that the direct replacement bulb only works on the newer ones. I'll fix that this evening.

Jason- An easy way, maybe, for people to be able to tell, is the color of the circuit board... Green (easy replacement). Tan (surgery time).

 

Sorry about older thread resurrection but, does anybody have any experience changing the bulb in the earlier versions of the ESOF switch? I measure the assembly out of mine from the base to the tip of the bulb and I come up with 24mm in height, so the one linked to in previous posts is too short.
