Cool I REALLY hate ignorant people

So i was leaving for work this morning. As i made the turn to leave the parking garage, i head a loud noise and the whole rear driver's side of my truck drops. i get out to see what happened and my truck is supported by the brake drum sitting on the inside of the rim. apparently some ********* decided he really liked my lugnuts and took EVERY SINGLE LUGNUT off my rim INCLUDING the one that requires a special socket to remove. im glad i was going so slow, it could of ended up alot worse, thankfully no one was hurt. sorry about taking up thread space, just needed to vent a little.

Morale of the story:
Check your nuts before you go for a ride

Next time get really ugly brown lug nuts with green dots. Nobody will want those.

In all seriousness, thats pretty pathetic that someone would do that. Im glad you are ok and your truck wasnt damaged real bad. Its things like that that make you wonder.

I think someone is really mad at you. stay quiet about it, sooner or later someone is going to ask you how your truck is doing, and you will know who did it. that could be concidered an attempt on your life.

That sucks. I feel for you man. I had the exact same thing happen to me a few years ago with my hot rod Astro. Some puke decided he wanted my rims so took all of the lugs off till he got to the locking nut. Then he gave up. I got halfway to work before the wobbling got so bad I had to pull over and park it. Punk! I was choked. What if I had gotten on the freeway with my kids and that last stud had snapped? Catch them and chop their fingers off, Saudi-style I say...

It is possible if you have nice wheels/tires, that someone was interrupted while attempting to remove them, I had that happen when I discovered loose lug nuts on my car. I later learned that several people lost wheels while parked in the same lot.

i agree keep quiet about it and wait for someone to ask about your truck and get them back twice as bad as they got you, something like draining their oil into a tupperwear container then putting the drain plug back in comes to mind while they are sleeping

sugar in the crank case works well. they drive, the oil melts the sugar, they stop, it cools down, suger gets hard. can you say instant lock up?

Now guys. we cant go destroying cars. Although, they did mess with someones truck and his life. I would pull the valve stems out of all the tires and if you can get the hood open pull all the plug wires and throw em under the car.

bleach in the petrol tank, viola, instant rust. Or if you want something obvious, just a tin of paint stripper and a brush and do a few laps of the car.
