Electrical Gremlins

2 days ago I noticed the first wierd issue, I went out to the car to get something out, unlocked it and pulled open a door, no interior lights (was at night), couldnt get any automatic interior lights to come on until I put the key in, turned it to accessories then back off. Then yesterday, the nav wouldnt unlock, with either the remote or the keypad, only unlocked with the key in door, Also with this problem the unlock/lock button inside does nothing. And then the worst one, the headlights shut off while driving down the street, and would not come back on until the switch was turned all the way right to on. Is there a fuse that could affect all this, only things I could find on forums similar to this may of been Gem problems in earlier navs, does the 2003 have similar issues?

Either GEM or maybe ignition switch - kinda guessing on the ign switch, but it seems to be at the root of your issue.

Hmm, It makes sense for the headlight issue but could the ignition cause the overheads and electric lock/unlock functions?

The problem dissappeared after a couple days with no rain (Although we had a tad bit of snow) so Im guessing its a problem similar to earlier nav's where lots of rain + failing windshield seal = gem probs?
