Looking for pictures of 05-07 with leveling kits installed. Please add the manufacturer you used and how you like it, since I'm looking at a few for my 06. Thanks in advance.
My 2005, sorry don't know brand as it was on the truck when I bought it last month. It uses OEM coils with a spacer up front. I put new Bilstein 5100 shocks on it that made a huge difference as the stock shocks were shot. Rides great.
They are 315/70R17's. I didn't want 18" wheels as I know the bigger the wheels the more $$$ for tires. Plus I've always been a "more tire than wheel" guy and think more tire results in a cushier ride. I don't tow anything aside from a little Pace enclosed trailer so I went with new wheels which where $99/ea on sale at Discount tire and the 315/70R17 D load tires. I've run this combo for years on 2 previous Duramax's and the ride is outstanding. Granted, if you tow heavy you need E-load but if not there is no reason for 10 ply sidewalls IMO if you don't need them for towing/hauling. I'm also running a Hankook RF ATM-10 tires which I like than several previous sets of BF AT KO's, Toyo AT's, etc. Also ran 2 sets of these tires on 2 previous trucks with outstanding results. Awesome wet/snow traction, extremely quiet and smooth. All in all I got the tires/wheels at Discount tire for around $1250 OTD and that is with a free tire replacement certificate. Tires have a 5-star customer rating at discounttire.com Many guys are jumping ship from the BF/Toyo camp for these tires.

Well it is definitely a nice looking setup and a lot cheaper route. I bought mine already lifted and tires and boy am I dreading having to buy new tires. I have 325/60r/20 and pricing them on discount tire they run around $478 bucks each. Luckily for me there is still a lot of tread left on them. I will probably end up buying same tires as I really enjoy the look of all that tire in the wheel well.
Sorry to chime in on your thread but am in the market for a leveling kit for a 2003 f 350 PSD 7.3 L with leafs. Anybody with good examples they are happy with for just maybe in a 2-3" range. I have to replace my shocks on all corners as well. Thanks in advance.
