Help Finding The Truck.
Hey Guys, well its my dad's birthday and I just had a thought. I think that it would be cool if i could find this truck he used to have and show him where its at and its condition. I'm hoping maybe in vain. but hoping that its on here. He had it when i was probably 5 or 6 and it was a beastly truck. The guy he bought it from raced it on the 1/8 mile. It's either a f100 or f150 It had a mean 460 big block. And my memory is kind of fuzzy because i'm 15 now and i was 5 or 6 when he had it. But it had a great reddish orange paint job. Single cab, 2 wheel drive and i believe it was manual transmission. and i'm seriously wanting to say it had to be between a '73 and '75. He sold it to a guy in southern georgia or norther florida close to where we live. If anyone knows of a truck with this description and has a picture it would be great to see it i think he would be overwhelmed to see how his old truck is doing. i know it wasn't much of a description but I was 6 and don't remember much about the truck other than i loved riding with him in it. thanks to any help.

If you have the VIN, contact your state DMV and ask them to run it thru the nationwide computer system to see if the vehicle is still extant...or not.
I did this in 2006, as I was looking for a 1950 Olds Club Coupe I owned from 1962 thru 1974. The CA DMV said the car was licensed in NM.
