Drivers side COP bank not working....
#3
The only wire I think I can't get connected right now is the knock sensor at the back of the motor/top of tranny, I can touch it with my fingers but I've yet the get it plugged in. Other then that everything else looks to be plugged in, I was wondering if it could be a ground issue, or could the driver side cam be installed upside down, I am getting alot of raw fuel spraying from the exhast pipe at the front wye pipe. Today the neighbour and I are planing on testing the coils to make sure we has 12 ish volts on them.
The engine I bought I haven't seen running yet, it was said to be comletely rebuilt, I'm thinking maybe the cam was installed upside down, or maybe just a bad ground, with all 8 COP plugged in it runs extremely rough, unplugging each COP at a time on the driveside does not change idle what so ever, therefore I'm assuming it's only running off the 4 passenger side cylinders.....
Any other steps greatly appreciated, thanks guys

One more thing I forgot to add, I still have to get the down pipe after the manifold welder up.....it is open to the world on the drivers side only, could the O2 sensers on the drivers side not be reading anything and sending a message back not to fire the 4 cylinders above? just a thought.
Tested and I am not getting any voltage reading on the driverside what so ever while running. Thanks guys!!!

Mitchell or Alldata....sorry, I thought this was french or something so I researched it....Yeah no I do not have a special book for this truck, been doing this project the dangerous/backyardigan way....trail and error, so far only minor extra costs lol.
I figured it out, I cut off the wire and re-run it from the harness directly to the COP on drivers side, I must have either wired something incorrectly or pinched the wire.
I still do have a major short draining the battery tho, thanks tho

To find parasitic draw(killing battery) I use a clamp on amprobe. You start pulling fuses one at a time until the faulty circuit is found. You then troubleshoot that circuit. You'll need Mitchell or Alldata for the too(schematic). 50mAmp is the max on parasitic draw. Over that your battery will be pulled down.
