This is odd. I just got my truck together after installing a new under valve cover harness. I tried to start it and it just turned over.
I check everything and found that I had forgotten to plug in the big 24 point plug that's above the valve cover. I plugged it in,and it started right up.
I took it for a ride and it was running great- when suddenly it started to shake and run really rough. The ses light came on. So I limped it back to the shop. I turned it off and checked what code would come up.
I got a p1280,0472,0198,1119,0380,0475,1316 and 0640. So I clear the codes and restart. Ran like nothing ever happened. Drove it for a while and it seems to be fine. What is up??
Are you sure you got the UVCH connectors plugged back in tight? Got the 42 pin connector (square box with bolt) tightened up and is supported by the bracket not hanging loose?
Any wires below or behind that square box chaffed? If the insulation is rubbed off the wires and they short against metal, it can cause those symptoms.

That's where I would look first. It might not be plugged in correctly and the bolt will tighten up and leads you to think it's on there right.
Checked the plugs and everything seems to be tight.
I wonder if the computer went crazy because I forgot to plug in the big plug at first? Could I have just reset it when I removed the codes and turned the truck off?
