A/C Mod For More HP?
I was at a friend's house today doing a high idle mod for him on his '06 and he was telling me about some mod where you can cut some wire on the A/C system and it will add like 45 or so HP. He said that concept he heard behind it was that with the factory setup, the A/C never fully shuts down, even when you turn the dial to "OFF". But he said that the mod would make it so that when the dial is at "OFF", then the A/C system is completely shut down and it adds HP. Now he wasn't claiming this to be true or anything, he just said it was something he had heard. I figured of it were true and there wasn't some huge catch then it would be posted up all over this site. But I figured I'd ask if anybody knew about it anyways.

not possible when the **** is switched to A/C the compressor turns on and when the **** is turned off it shuts off the field coil on the clutch is only energized when call for and doesn't run when you are not calling for AC
